Team Participation

1. In order for players to tryout for the golf team, they must obtain a Permit to Participate form from the Athletic Office. This permit must be filled out by the player's physician after passing a physical exam and returned to the Athletic Office PRIOR to the first day of tryouts.
2. All players who make the PHS Golf Team must be at each practice on time Monday through Friday.
3. All players must abide by District 214's Co-curricular Code
4. When a player is ill or unable to attend practice, please contact the appropriate level boy's golf coach as soon as possible.
5. The golf coaching staff encourages players to practice their individual skills on weekends and after scheduled practice hours.
6. The golf coaching staff encourages players to compete in competitive tournaments throughout the summer to prepare for high school level competition.
7. Players are expected to uphold all rules pertaining to golf (USGA) and display proper etiquette.
8. Players are expected to model good sportsmanship .
9. The following should be reported immediately to one of the high school golf coaches:
   -inappropriate behavior
   -unsportsmanlike conduct
   -falsification of scorecard
